Aster Reem David (b. 1988, Pakistan) is a British visual artist working with photography and moving image. The themes of ecology, geology and her relationship with the natural and non-human environments are central to her practice. Aster's approach to image-making is multi-layered and experimental; encompassing found imagery, mixed recycled materials and other environmentally sound processes combining both analogue and digital methods. She is committed to use her practice as a platform to reflect, engage and raise awareness on ecological crises. Aster is currently based in Ireland studying a masters programme in Art & Ecology.
